Blindness is rampant around the globe, especially among the rural poor.

Fortunately, 80% is preventable.

In December 2017, eyeglasses.com set up a program to cure blindness in one person per day.
Each eyeglasses.com purchase helps us fulfill our vision to eradicate preventable blindness. Thus far, we've funded
sight-restoring surgeries for more than 700 people and counting.

But it doesn't stop there.

Restoring someone's eyesight also restores their ability to support their
family, village, country and the world.

Which puts "giving back" in a whole new light.
